5 Things to Bring to Your Baby’s Milestone Session

Your baby’s first year is magical and fleeting. Milestone Sessions are a great way to document important changes and developments so you can preserve incredible memories of your baby’s first year. Here are the most important things to bring with you to your baby’s milestone session to ensure a smooth and easy portrait experience.

  1. Snacks + milk or water: Keeping your baby’s tummy full and happy helps to ensure an easy session
  2. Change of clothes: Accidents happen and it’s best to be prepared with a back-up outfit that’s ready to go in case we encounter a blowout.
  3. Extra diapers + wipes: Staying in line with the last point, accidents happen. Whether big or small, we want to keep your little one dry and happy.
  4. Sentimental toy/book/prop: If there’s anything you want to remember from this short season, please bring it with you. Whether it’s a handmade blanket, a cherished toy, or a sentimental item that has been passed down, we can incorporate them into your photos.
  5. Pacifier: If your little one is a sucker, be sure to bring a pacifier with you. This can be used to quickly soothe your baby in between shots, or can still make for adorable photos if your baby doesn’t want to part with it.

All of these things help keep your session running smoothly and efficiently. The key, of course, is keeping your baby happy. If you’re interested in booking a milestone session, I’ll help you every step of the way so we can capture those moments you never want to forget.
